They are the offense of the team. When combined together, the team with these players are unstoppable. Unlike defenders, they are usually at the frontline, not at the back, and are not afraid to risk their lives running through open areas just the clear out an area. They immediately rush objectives under attack, or throw C4 at an objective to clear out enemies contesting. These guys are where experienced players fall into. They carry lighter weapons and wears light armor or even non at all so they can be fast and agile.
They are the defensive players. The rushers in the other hand, are different.
Snipers, sharpshooters and designated marksman classes also fall in this type. These guys can be found watching flanks or the entire objective itself. Usually wears chest rigs or chest carriers and most likely wears light armor or heavy armor. The defender attacks from far away, usually with a 2x optic, or a much more longer-ranged scope.
